Yes, I know this can be a bit of a sore spot for some with school starting this week (or last week for some) but alleviate your frustrations by building something school related in Minecraft. Build a model of your school, or a giant pencil. The only limit is your imagination.

ONLY CONTEST ENTRIES ARE ALLOWED HERE. ALL OTHER POSTS WILL BE DELETED.

My entry into the contest. Of course I don't want to win it but thought I would put up my entry as an example.

I built my old elementary school. Yes, I went to Happy Through School from Kindergarden through Grade 9.

Here's a few screenshots or just download the world.

Hello! I have created Valley Stream Central High School, the high school I currently attend. I have posted the pics of the school and screens of my build. I tried to replicate the general frame of the building and make it look as similar as possible but I didn't follow the inner schematic.

Note: Due to a busy schedule I have finished the school but I haven't added everything that will be included with it on my city map. Here's what it currently has and what will be added in the next couple days.

School HAS main entrance, classrooms, main office, separate offices, clinic/nurses office, bathrooms, library, stairs, elevators.

School WILL HAVE auditorium on the right, gymnasium on the left, main wing with more classrooms, main stair case, and cafeteria. OUTDOORS will include a big lawn, several parking areas, track and field, tennis courts.

Contest Closed for new entries.

Finalists will be selected by Monday September 16th and voting will commence to determine a winner.

Please bear with us during this first contest while we sort out how this is going to work.

Added the number of votes to the page so you can get an idea of who is in the lead. It's a pretty close race at this point.

Cast your vote for your favorite!!
