Blank Map Window

Hey Everyone,

I uploaded my map this morning and received the complete message but the window where the map should be is blank. You can see what I'm talking about here:

I'm not sure if I uploaded the wrong folder or what. Any help I could get would be great!

Lol, that's alright. I thought it was kind of strange but I went with it=) Anyway, this time I uploaded the Nether and End folders thinking that may have been the issue without realizing that it would cause its own issues. I'm uploading again now.

Alright, upload is complete and the Render Date/Result say complete but the window is still blank.

Is this a server archive backup? I don't think you can upload only nether and end files or you will get an error. If you are using bukkit you can only upload the surface world only.

I guess I'm not really sure what to upload then. It is from a server that uses bukkit and I did take only the surface world folder on this last upload. Should I be looking in a different location for the appropriate folder?

At first glance of your zip structure, I'm not seeing any issues there.

When I catch the queue at a slow time I'll run some manual tests on your world to see what is causing the problem.

Most of the time it's a corrupt chunk that freezes up the render or sometimes just a glitch with the upload. You could try re-archiving and re-uploading in the meantime to see if that resolves it.

Thanks for looking into this. I've uploaded three times where it said the result was complete but the window was blank so I'll hold off on uploading again for the moment to see if you find any issues. Thanks again.

I found that your error may happen if you upload a world with any unsupported mods used or a unsupported modpack. A while back this error occured when I tried to upload my server archive of my now shut down Feed the Beast - Ultimate server called Feed the World. https://web.archive.org/web/2020/http://www.minecraftworldmap.com/worlds/KZnPp

The map shouldn't have any mods other than the bukkit plugin. We run it completely vanilla=(

i've downloaded your map, unzipped it and opened it with minecraft in singleplayer mode. saved and zipped map, uploaded again. works fine: https://web.archive.org/web/2020/http://www.minecraftworldmap.com/worlds/oIp2U

maybe there was a chunk error or something, don't rly know..
