Hello all,

I just had a question one of the features of premium membership. With membership, you're allowed to choose what direction north is. Does that mean the map, when rendered, will show different vantages?

For instance, my map involves a castle on top of a large mountain, and the way it renders now, a lot of my structures on the otherside of the mountain are blocked. So would premium membership allow me to see the blocked vantages?

I'm not sure if that's how it functions, as I've never really experimented with it enough to notice. However, I doubt that is how it works, as I do not believe that Overviewer contains this functionality out-of-the-box. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be functioning after the recent 1.9 update, so I can't give you a correct answer.

far as i can tell with what I've attempted. some people just build without taking into account what in-game north is. That feature allows them to tell others what their map's north is regardless of the in-game north.

i have yet to find a way to render hidden things other than to make sure my map's north lines up with the in-game north so i can see it all.

that said it might be possible to see the other side of the mountain using the Caves option when you're looking at your map.
