Minecraft 1.3 Update

We might lose users, but we won't lose them to other servers because all servers must wait for the bukkit update. That was just a roughy estimate.

Well, larper, i would never leave this awesome server, its the only one thats cool! And that Minecraft Launcher isnt working for me, so i cant be on the server for a while! See ya when 1.3.1 is in the server!

Just a quick update.

Bukkit has released a development version for 1.3.1 and I've been testing this with the mods. Ran into a roadblock early when the world generation/loading code for the multiworld environment that we have glitched out.

The bukkit team is working on this and once I have a new release I can continue testing and we'll go from there.

there were some severs that alredy had 1.3 but i dont know if they have bukkit. other severs say conection reset so i dont know what that means

ok, so i kind of skimmed through this thread. Is the server up and running on 1.3 right now?

no the servers not up right now skeight said it would take more than a month

......ok so i checked as i said there are other servers that alredy have 1.3, mabe they do have bukkit

vanilla servers are the only ones running 1.3 . As for bukkit servers the 1.3 update is in a very buggy state right now, from duplicating items to entire world render problems its a mess.

The map rendering is updated to 1.3, that's the notice on the website.

The multiplayer server is still running 1.2 and will be for some time. The bugs are getting fixed quite quickly and it definitely won't take a month.

I've been working on testing the updates and continue to test new releases. Once things stabilize then the server will be switched over along with some new features.

Horray for overestimation!! It was extremely buggy.
Examples:
Nether was regular world, but with red sky
The End was regular world, but with black sky
Dispensers shoot stacks of items instead of a single item
Powered pistons extend in two directions
