Minecraft 1.3 Update

...we use Bukkit. Bukkit is what takes a while to update.

Kl, at least we know when to have everything ready by, playworld spwan to good to go, staff can see it with /res tp spawn

(can't believe i got that res tp^)

Just need the hardcore one now, i wont hod that, i kinda already did with the play one :S

August 1st is when Minecraft 1.3 is released from Mojang. How would that end up in us losing users? Everyone gets it at the same time...

I am saying that if the bukkit update doesnt come out soon after the update the server will loose users , then the other servers will gain more users... that is all

And they were saying other servers wont get 1.3 till bukkit updates either. Everybody will get it at the same time.

Servers arent going to lose users, people dont want to abandon what they built.

When updates come out I'm really on top of the bukkit team.

I watch their development documents as they progress through all the changes and start testing the update as soon as a development build is ready.

The plugins installed shouldn't need any major updates although there may be some updates required especially with the new blocks/items.

This isn't a new process and we've been through many updates. Most are performed so efficiently they go unnoticed to players.
