You wake up on a beach, in a life raft among debris from a ship. You are now stranded on an Altaria Island.
There are two ways to play the map:
Adventure
Survival

You can mix the two up because in either mode, you can mine and place blocks. Explore shipwrecks and discover treasure or build houses and grow food. The choice is yours. Whatever way you play, there are challenges for each of Survival and Adventure.

Included in the download are 2 maps of the island.
One map (Terrain Map - Altaria Island.png) shows the terrain and elevation of the map.
The second (Discoveries Map - Altaria Island.png) shows the locations to all the treasures, wrecks, buried settlements and buildings.

This map has recently been updated to 1.2, update includes:
-New Discovery, The Cave
-Abandoned Mine can be located near the Radio Tower Control Station

This is my personal map that I am working on with a couple of friends. The mainstay of the map will be a large city based on the foundation I have laid out. I will be naming it Constantinople and I will fill it with architecture from the historical city. More cities will be added as we go along, but the focus will be on famous ancient architecture.

Constantinople has a stable. two houses, a steel mill, two villages, and a farm already built. The foundation has been laid to build the Hagia Irene. After that has been built, a Hippodrome, the Hagia Sophia, an Imperial Library/University, the Lighthouse of Alexandria, and more will be added to it. The Great Pyramid of Khufu is going to be built with a mob grinder inside it.

02/07/17 Update: The Hagia Irene is finished! Now work has started on clearing the area near the farm to build a Roman style warehouse (horrea). This will lead to a port which will connect with the Lighthouse already under construction.

This is all being built in survival and will move pretty slow, but will have bi-weekly/monthly updates. Feel free to comment with suggestions or what you have done with the map!

an awesome zombie survival map. it has it all: levels, guns, perks, points, different colas to buy, clickable signs and all that jazz. it is totally muiltyplayer freindly and singleplayer if you wish. it has a play again button if you wish to play multiply times over. it is totally automated for your pleasure.

This map is similar to the survival Island map, but instead of an island surrounded by water... this map is a floating island surrounded by lava below. This is like Survival Island NIGHTMARE DIFFICULTY. with limited resources and more mobs I wish you luck making a shelter then building a bridge to the fountain of youth.

It is like skyblock but much more easier there are villagers and 2 little islands where you can get stuff so it is for the ultimate minecraft fan

i have done this as a survival world
It is in a jungle biome and i have added the nether, brewery, storage, main house, command station. It is not the best, but when you dont have much, it is very good. also try and find the secret room. it has a reward in it. Tip; water fall
