This map has just about everything. You spawn in a forest with dark spruce trees which is sometimes snowy, just depends. There is a HUGE cave with at least 30-50 branches and a drop at the entrance to your upper right. Behind you to the left is another smaller cave that can loop around to a cave right in front of you up the hill. Once you clear these two caves out, you can build a house like I did and no need for a roof, the mountain is your roof. For the sake of not seeing the zombie apocalypse chase you, don't go outside during the night. Watch your step because you can walk right into a 20-30 block drop, like I did. Twice. Another thing, don't go too far from home if you don't know the area by heart. Take a compass and map. (I got lost and run in a complete circle, twice. Leading back to the same spot.
