dome tree house treehouse survival giant tree treasure tree tree dome

The Tree Dome has been updated! This is the version I wanted to upload originally. I have refined the sculpture and details and added features from the 1.6 update. There are several fully furnished homes carved into the trunk and branches and various treasures hidden within the dome.

I am currently working on a new dome for the 256 block sky height, not sure when it will be done but it will finish the trilogy of tree dome maps.

nice building dude, you should create some more domes

This is really awsome, I love it how you get to create whatever you want around the tree!

I'm kinda a noob at downloading these things. I know how to install it and all.. btw, awesome dome and tree! I installed it and walked around a bit. Love it. Here's my problem: when I install this, is there any way to change the game settings to creative mode and all that? Once I installed it, I tried to go to creative mode and none of the commands were working for me. Essentially, I'm looking to place your tree and dome within my own world and build off of it for single player playing.
Thanks.
Ki

Okay, click escape then click 'open to LAN'. make sure you click cheats on, then click 'start LAN world'. Once you have done that press 't' on you keyboard and it will come up with a little grey box in the bottem left of your screen. In that box type

/gamemode 1

, click enter and you will be in creative!

It used to be that you could swap the index files in the maps, converting it to creative mode. You'd have to hit up google to verify this for the new file format, however. Thanks for the complements on my map, if you decide to upload your changes send me a link, I enjoy seeing what alterations other players make.

@enirehtak,
I'm not sure what the problem with the file might have been in your case but I tried it and it unzipped fine. Maybe your download failed near the end and corrupted the file. If it still won't unzip after a second download attempt you may want to check your zipping software. I hope you get it working because I think you will enjoy the map.

when i downloaded it i went to go into the zip file to get the world and it wouldn't let me in saying that there were no files in the .zip. very disappointing because the map looked awesome. help maybe?
