This map consists of the entire contiguous United States (except for Alaska and Hawaii)
Link to the legacy 1.7 version and the full extent of this map:
Here It consists of hand painted biomes, important rivers and lakes, such as the Mississippi River, the Great Lakes and the jungles of Florida. The spawn is located in Denver, Colorado, as part of the vote earlier.
The total area of this map is about 1100 km2 (430 sq mi), which makes it one of the largest custom maps in Minecraft.
The map shown here is only a display, and doesn't consist of the entire map. Because the total map size is 6.7 GB large, it's not available to download here directly from the site.
Please PM me if you want to use this map on the server (It will be really appreciated for my attention of server owners to tell me if they want me to join).
Update 1: Fixed the sandstone desert
Update 2: Smoothed out the terrain and added rivers west of the Rocky Mountains
Update 3: Expanded the total area eastward and marked the border at Minnesota. This version uploaded to the site is a display version, but the full version can be downloaded in the sponsored link. More rivers and lakes has been added to the east, especially the lakes in Minnesota. The reason is because i found a more detailed lakes and rivers map that i overlayed.
Update 4: Added the New England states as a
separate map.
Update 5: Entire contiguous United States is now available as a map and a testing server! IP: (server address)

the problem is not that the link of the full map is down. the problem is that the whole site is going down the drain because the administrator has left without explanation, why do you think no one has uploaded new maps or updated theirs for a long time? because the person in charge just left and left the site to stand by its own and no one is going to fix it because no one has the admin rights to do so

Are you going to use custom tree schematics?
That's not guaranteed to happen. The rivers here are hand drawn, and can only appear if it's significant enough to show up in the image overlay´, which i use as a tool for the rivers and lakes. Also, some people might not like custom trees. I use vanilla trees here to reduce the map file size, so that Minecraft can generate them automatically.
Also make the biome borders smoother.
Are you going to use custom tree schematics?

There are several server maps that are much larger. Westeroscraft and Azorathcraft for example. That aside, are you going to expand this map to be the whole united states? That'd be amazing.
Read the description. The entire United States can't fit into a whole map on this site (4GB limit), and have to be split in east and west, but will be mergeable.
Read it already. I'm asking if you'll release a pre-merged version, you can do so elsewhere instead of abiding by the site's 4g limit. What you have above isn't the entire west half, if east is just as big then that leaves a center section(s) gone. Also, what about alaska and Hawaii?
Also, how do you make it? It, and the other terrain maps are very impressive.
I can export one half at a time by making the border coordinates between the two halves divisible by 512 blocks, which would make it a seamless merge between the two halves. Also, the reason i would make the two halves separately is because i have run out of space in all of the free cloud services that i use for maps uploaded to Planetminecraft(google drive, mediafire and dropbox). Hawaii and Alaska would be practically difficult to travel to from the mainland (you don't want to sail 50,000 blocks to get there), and would make my map even larger and more difficult to render. I use 3 arcsecond terrain data from USGS if you are wondering.
Also, if you know a site where i can upload massive .rar files, please let me know.

It's WorldPainter, the same program Lentebrisje used to make his custom maps.
Also, remember that some tributary rivers might not be painted on and left out, either because they're too narrow or flat compared to the surrounding landscape (i use them as a guide), or because it's not a very significant river. But i have saved the Spokane River now in WorldPainter, and will be rendered in a new version when i have finished the Missouri River system.
