Hi I was just wandering around on this website looking for Stampys lovely world and then I found this amazing creation That took five years to create Well Done
Hey, I connected to your server for a few minutes to peek around. I typically only visit servers/look at other people's maps in search of good ideas and the like that I can use for my fantasy fortress map Legionholm (#stricktlymonogamous). As a result I usually don't visit any map with a real modern world setting as I think to myself "Self, even if these guys are the Mike Jordan of minecraft how will Legionholm benefit from my seeing some really slick ways to build a helicopter?"
Your map convinced me that I have been a fool, I had a lot of fun looking at what thou have wrought. Not only are you persons (from what I saw while I was on) very good (I kept going "Ohmygod! Those are obviously desks with computers! Ohmygod! Roof-top ducts and AC units with rails; brilliant! Ohmygod! That toilet looks so good I'm sad Steve doesn't actually have to take a dump!), but you build actual building obviously intended for doing something and have as much or more effort put into making the interiors look like what they're supposed t0 be as the outside.
I can't count the number of maps I've been excited to explore only to discover all they have are very pretty hollow boxes with little-no discernible purpose. I feel like Eliot Ness meeting Sean Connery in The Untouchables and going "Oh thank god, there actually honest cops in Chicago. I'm not alone."
I also really thought it was cool how you had your showroom right at the beginning. Back in the day when Notch still walked among mortals distributing golden apples and Friday updates to all it took me months and months to deduce how to make almost anything resembling furniture etc all on my own. Its nice that you guys just lay out a ton of useful stuff for people right from the get-go.
The NyuuLucy Academy of Minecraft Arts and Sciences Is proud to award you the (VERY prestigious) Item Frame Sconce Award for excellence in interior design and being overall swagtastic champions of good personery.
I do feel you should know that my immediate reaction to your hall of fame was "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Some sick bastard murdered your admins and has displayed their heads in public! Call the FBI!" Seriously that's some Silence of the Lambs/Dexter stuff right there.
ELC Support would like to apologize for the inconvenience this may cause to our builders and visitors.
As of today, we are no longer running the server on a static IP address. This is being done to cut down costs in order to retain the server going forward for the community.
We are now on a dynamic IP address going forward which will be updated periodically as it changes on http://www.elctownmap.ca/.
Please note that there may be times where the server may not be reachable and the http://www.elctownmap.ca/ may not be accessible.
We ask that you be patient with us and wait until we update the DNS records manually should the IP address change.
If http://www.elctownmap.ca/ is working, you can get the latest IP address of the ELC Town Map server from the website or simply point your Minecraft connection to server.elctownmap.ca instead of the IP address.
Currently, the server is parked @ (server address)
Hi! You can see what my username is, so I won't bother introducing myself. I was wondering if I could help you build every once in a while. I haven't built very much, or even posted it online, but if you need help, feel free to let me know.
PS- European style buildings are the kind of thing that I am best at building.
You can join anytime to build in the freebuild area, and then the finished builds from freebuild are periodically transferred into the map. Eventually if you create enough quality builds on the server, you may get promoted to builder rank and be able to build in parts of the map itself! Hope this helps, it would be great to have more people come onto this server.

Hi elcdragons, I was wondering whether i could do a 360degrees aka #virtualreality video on this map?
With your permission of course. I will definitely give a shoutout to your channel/map/account if you want to.
an example of a #minecraft360degrees video is this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?... was build by my friend, but helped him to show the building from his perspective.
Let me know what do you think.
Regards =D
